It’s been an extremely rough 24 hours for a lot of people in Australia since the application of the news ban on Facebook. I’m currently living and working in New Zealand, so the ban didn’t directly apply, however it still has a far-reaching impact beyond Australia.

One of its newer features is the ability for anyone to live stream content via Facebook Live. Last year Facebook began to roll this new feature out to public figures, before extending this to verified accounts, and now it’s available to anyone.

It’s a great option if you want to bring more people to your Facebook page and it can also be exceptionally useful for crowdfunding campaigns.
